i think it is interesting how we define the notion of “home”differently. despite the multiplicity of meanings embedded in that word, i have always favored the idea of “home” as one’s source or foundation.  for me that has always meant rural northeast texas. i left that place in 1998. i started making these specific images during periodic trips back in mid 2007.
